recently i've been spending a lot of time away from social media. my computer screentime is still pretty high, but it's nice to not feel tethered to my phone and like i'm missing a limb if i leave it in another room... i've been reading a lot, playing video games, trying to spend more time offline in general and doing things that are fun instead of wasting my day doomscrolling. it's been really nice and very helpful for my mental health :3 i'm slowly coming back to tumblr right now, i think i'm going to exclusively use it on desktop for a while though.

my gigaglitters graphic broke... i couldn't find the font i was using before, so i chose a new one! maybe i'll finally learn my lesson to host things like that in my own storage instead of hotlinking >_< which is, uh... not something i am currently doing with my stamps page and a few of them are in fact broken at the moment... maybe i'll spend some time actually downloading all those tomorrow and redo my whole stamps page... oopsies. another thing, i finally decided to give stardew valley another try today and ended up playing for hours! i'm really enjoying it, even if i'm definitely not playing in the most efficient way :3

i can't believe it's august already... my birthday is next month, i'm not ready to be 26 T^T i finally got around to adding a couple photos to the photo dump section, i really want it to be more for photography-style photos instead of random pictures like my instagram, so new photos probably won't be added very often. i hope people like the photos i do add, though. i'd like for the photos to enlarge when clicked, but i'm not sure how to do that and i don't feel like figuring it out right now >_<

i've finally switched browsers and search engines from chrome / google to firefox / duckduckgo! i've been wanting to do this for a while but never committed to it because it felt like a big change. so far it's been a big but good change, and i love that duckduckgo has a no ai extension i can set as my default search engine :3 all that's left to do now is change duckduckgo to my default on my phone as well ^-^

first new page on my site in a while! i've wanted to add something like this for quite some time, and i've been getting to things i've been procrastinating for ages like the pce and webkinz databases, so now seemed like a perfect time to bite this bullet as well :3c i'll probably just update on life here in short paragraphs, and they'll be added chronologically from bottom to top.
